Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect in my first session?
In your first session, we take a comprehensive, holistic approach to truly understand your unique situation. We’ll begin with an in-depth conversation about your health history, lifestyle, current concerns, and specific goals—whether it’s relieving pain, enhancing mobility, improving performance, or simply feeling better in your everyday life.
From there, we’ll conduct a thorough physical assessment, evaluating your movement patterns, posture, strength, flexibility, and any areas of discomfort or restriction. Our approach goes beyond simply treating symptoms; we aim to identify and address the underlying causes to create meaningful, lasting improvements.
We believe that no matter your age, the body has the remarkable ability to adapt and improve. With this in mind, we’ll develop a personalised treatment plan designed to support your body’s natural healing and optimize its function. This may include a combination of hands-on techniques, movement-based therapies, exercise programs, and practical education to empower you with the tools and knowledge to actively participate in your recovery.
We are committed to helping you take control of your health journey—equipping you with the skills and understanding needed to achieve your goals and maintain your well-being long-term.
Do you take HICAPS?
Yes, we accept HICAPS claims, allowing you to claim your rebate through your private health fund after your appointment.
Do I need a referral?
No, a referral is not required to see a physiotherapist. You can book an appointment directly without needing to consult your GP first. Early intervention is important—even if you are unsure about your condition, addressing it sooner can prevent it from worsening and support a faster, more effective recovery. Our approach focuses on identifying the underlying cause and providing targeted treatment to help you regain movement and function as efficiently as possible.
Where can I park?
Street parking is available for 2 hours and is free of charge, with plenty of spaces generally available.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes, we do have a cancellation policy. While we completely understand that unexpected situations can arise, we kindly ask for 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made within this time frame will incur a 50% charge, as we want to ensure that we can offer available appointments to other patients who may need care. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to continuing to support your health and well-being.
How do you want your patients to feel after working with you?
Empowered, pain-free, more in control of their health and an understanding of how to manage their conditions individually
Can physiotherapy improve my performance?
Yes, physiotherapy can significantly enhance your performance, whether you’re dealing with general stiffness that’s bothering you at home or work, training for a marathon, competing in a triathlon, learning a new skill, or returning to your favorite sport. We take a holistic approach to help you achieve your goals, believing that no matter your age, the body has the ability to adapt. We focus on managing athletes’ loads effectively, ensuring your body is conditioned and performing optimally, while minimizing injury risk. We also support children’s physical development, helping them build strength and mobility for long-term health. Whatever your goal, we’re here to guide you toward reaching your full potential with a sustainable, balanced approach to movement.
